Standing Up for Taxpayers
The Legislature raised taxes this year in the middle of the worst recession in our lifetime. I fought against the taxes, and against a spending spree that hurt small businesses and working families.
Now, the state needs to re-set state government so that we have fewer highly-paid middle managers and more workers who are delivering services. We need less overhead and waste and must eliminate those programs that are not essential to the well-being of our citizens.
